Winter Weddings & Love Stories That Last a Lifetime
Winter is when the magic brews quietly — misty mornings, crackling fires, and some of the most intimate ceremonies of the year.

Down here in Tasmania, we have a very distinct wedding season—somewhere between September and April. And while the flurry of spring and summer weddings is full of energy and excitement, I’ll let you in on a little secret…
Winter is when the magic brews quietly.
This time of year, I take a deep breath. I reset, rest, and get stuck into the good stuff—updating my resources, refreshing my ceremony scripts, tweaking my socials, and catching up on admin (yes, I do love a tidy spreadsheet). Most importantly, it’s when I meet with new couples and start planning love stories that last a lifetime.
Winter brings its own kind of romance:
Crisp, misty mornings and snow-capped kunanyi
Lush forest greens and deep burgundy velvets
Crackling fires, soft knits, and yes… single-cone Valhalla ice creams (absolutely to die for)
If the summer heat isn’t your thing, why not consider a winter elopement? Tasmania has no shortage of moody beaches, rustic barns, or charming wineries that are just as stunning in the off-season. In fact, winter weddings are some of the most intimate and heartwarming of them all.
So whether you’re planning ahead or dreaming of a cosy celebration while the mountain wears her snowy crown—I'm here, cup of tea in hand, ready to help make it unforgettable.
